On June 28, 2016, victim Mitchell Walker was shot and killed at 9901 Bruton Road (El Rancho Apartments).  The victim was driving a black 2009 Honda Accord 4-door, bearing Texas license plate BRC-2888. The vehicle has not been located.

The victim has been identified as, Mitchell Walker, a Black male 27-years-old.  The Dallas Police Department is asking that anyone with information about this murder contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3663 or Detective Trujillano at (214) 671-3625. The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance seeking information regarding a murder investigation.

On June 28, 2016, at approximately 1:51 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for police at 9901 Bruton Road. Officers found the victim, an unknown Black male, lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baylor hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim has not been identified at this time. 

The Dallas Police Department is asking that anyone with information about this murder to contact the Homicide Unit at (214) 671-3661 or Detective Trujillano at (214) 671-3625.  If you wish to remain anonymous you may call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).  Crime Stoppers will pay $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment for this felony offense and other felony offenses.
