On July 2, 2016, at about 7:40 pm, the Jack in the Box restaurant located at 404 W. Illinois Avenue was robbed by an armed suspect. The Hispanic male suspect presented a note to the cashier stating “Give me all the money and no one will get hurt, I have a gun”. The suspect then lifted his shirt and displayed a black handgun tucked into his waist band. The cashier surrendered the cash from the register and the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect, captured in the photos, is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5’ 4” in height, weighing 140 pounds. He has medium length black hair, a black beard, and large tattoo on his right bicep. The suspect was wearing a black polo shirt with gray horizontal stripes, black jeans, black shoes, a black leather Dallas Mavericks baseball cap, and a red rubber bracelet with a silver charm, possibly a crucifix, on his right wrist.
