Update: On August 24, 2016, the suspect Lonnie Brown, turned himself in at Dallas Police Headquarters and was interviewed by detectives. He is being charged with Murder, but  was released pending the grand jury decision.

On August 20, 2016, at approximately 2:00p.m., the victim and suspect Lonnie Brown, a Black male 42-years-old, were involved in a verbal dispute at 810 E. Saner Avenue.  The dispute led to Lonnie Brown striking the victim in the head multiple times.  The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.  Suspect Brown is currently wanted for aggravated assault.
