On September 10, 2016, at approximately 9:20 P.M. officers responded to a shooting call at 3115 Carpenter Avenue. Upon arrival officers found the victim, Kai Webb B/M/20 shot.  The victim was transported to Baylor Hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower torso by Dallas Fire Rescue. The victim died a short time after arriving at the hospital.

Homicide, Gang Unit, and Crime Scene were notified and responded to the crime scene. Witnesses were brought to police headquarters for interviews. The victim was exiting the house when he became involved in an argument with an unknown B/M suspect who produced a handgun and shot the victim and fled the scene.
