Deep Ellum Robberies

There have been three robberies in the Deep Ellum area starting Saturday September 10,2016. The robberies are occurring in the area of Elm Street and Indiana Street. Victims are being approached at their vehicles. The suspects have pointed guns at their victims or struck them with their fists.

On Saturday September 10, 2016 in the 2900 block of Indiana St., at 9:40 PM suspects approached the victims at gunpoint and took their wallets and cellphones. Suspects are described as three black males, 5’10 in height, 170lbs wearing black sweatshirts.

On Saturday September 17, 2016 in the 2600 block of Elm St., at 6:00AM suspects struck the victim with their fists and took a cellphone. Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 18-19 years of age, 5’11’’ in height, 160lbs wearing a long sleeve blue shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black male, 16-18 years of age, 5’09” in height, 130lbs wearing a black shirt. Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 15-18 years of age, 6’01” in height, 180lbs wearing a red and black shirt. 

On Sunday September 18, 2016 in the 2900 block of Elm St. at 4:00AM suspects pointed a gun at victim and attempted to take a cellphone.  Suspect #1 is described as a black male 16-18 years of age, 5’09 in height wearing a black shirt.  Suspect #2 is described as a black male 16-18 years of age, 4’07” in height, 100 lbs wearing a gray hoodie with burns on his face.
