On October 20, 2016 at approximately 1:27 a.m., the victim, Alonzo Gillespie, a 40-year-old Black male, was shot multiple times in the 1600 block of Gillarel Springs Lane.  The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Homicide Detective McDaniel #8890, at 214-671-4236 or tonya.mcdaniel@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us   Please refer to Dallas Police case number 251798-2016.
