The Dallas Police Department Financial Investigations unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a theft suspect.

On October 20, 2016, the Black male suspect committed a Forgery of Counterfeit Money offense at 13689 N. Central Expressway, Dallas Texas. The suspect met with the victim who was attempting to sell his two (2) IPhone watches on the Let Go App. The suspect contacted the victim and offered the  to buy the items. The suspect met the victim in the parking lot and gave the victim $800.00 cash. The suspect left the location and the victim discovered that the $800.00 given by the suspect was counterfeit. 

According to the suspects LetGo profile, he goes by the name of Derrick M and Chef D it also states he lives in the Coppell area.
