On Sunday December 11, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the victim was walking in the 600 block of Cantegral Sreet, when a white pickup truck stopped alongside the victim. A verbal dispute then began between the suspect and the victim. The suspect then stepped out of his truck and shot the victim once before fleeing the location.

The suspect is described as a Black male, 40 years of age, 6 ft tall, clean cut, and weighing approximately 200 lbs. The suspect vehicle is a white, 2005-2006, mid-sized pickup truck with possible Texas tag number ending in 069.
