One year ago today on January 6, 2016, the victim, Randall Jones, a white male 46 years old, and a witness were inside their apartment at 3810 Cedar Lake Drive.  The witness went to an adjacent apartment and later heard a loud sound.  At approximately 11:00 p.m., the witness returned to his apartment and found the complainant deceased in the kitchen from a gunshot wound.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is encouraged to contact Special Investigations Unit Detective Laurence, #9191, at 214-671-3704 or robert.laurence@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.
