On January 26, 2017, at approximately 12:24 p.m., officers responded to a 40/01 in the the 1400 block of Diceman Drive.  Upon arrival officers observed the victim, Brandon McLane, a 20-year-old Black male, deceased from gunshot wounds.  The victim was found in the residence.  Homicide detectives responded along with Crime Scene and the medical examiner.  Detectives canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses.  At this time there is no suspect information.  A murder offense was made on case number 020173-2017.  Anyone with information regarding this shooting is encouraged to contact Homicide Detective Parker, #7566, at 214-671-3630 or edward.parker@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.
