The Dallas Police Department’s Traffic Unit has been the home of the iconic Harley Davidson motorcycle for several years. This week, the department is adding five new 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycles to the fleet, an upgrade from the 2012 model in use now. These new bikes include some modifications made to aid in the safety of the public and officers alike, such as brighter head lights and emergency equipment. They also sport a new, modern black and white design and updated logo to compliment the black and white cruisers used today.
