Congratulations to Senior Corporal Angela Pardue, #6884, for receiving the honor of being named 2016’s Officer of the Year. Senior Corporal Angela Pardue is a 26-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department and was assigned to the Personnel Division. In a letter to the Meritorious Conduct Board, Lieutenant Corolla stated, “Angela has improved organization, functionality and performance of the department by streamlining its administrative processes. She has organized countless events to include “Chief on the Beat” and Health Fairs as well as dedicated over 2,000 hours of off-duty time to the community and citizens of Dallas.” Senior Corporal Pardue also volunteers her time to assist other officers as a Peer Support Counselor often taking calls in the middle of the night and even visiting officers in person.
Senior Corporal Angela Pardue has volunteered for the Texas Special Olympics and has also been instrumental in organizing several clothing drives in order to ensure underprivileged children are provided with clothing, food, and any necessities the children may need.
