Detectives Seeking Information in Murder on Ferguson

UPDATED March 9, 2017 at 11:15 a.m.:

On March 8, 2017, the Dallas Police Metro Unit arrested suspects Jacolby Hill and Ashton Hill for Capital Murder.  Both suspects were read their Miranda warnings and waived their rights to remain silent by speaking with detectives.  Both suspects have been booked into Lew Sterrett Jail with their bonds set at $500,000.00 each.

UPDATE:

As a result of the investigation, it was determined through witness testimony and evidence that Jacolby Hill, a Black male 21-years-old and Ashton Hill, a Black male 23-years-old, are responsible for the shooting death of Jerell Dilworth at 7229 Ferguson Road on March 4, 2017.  Capital murder warrants have been issued for their arrest, however they are not in custody and their whereabouts are unknown.

On March 4, 2017, at approximately 11:39 a.m., an unknown Black male approximately 30-years-old, was found deceased in the 7200 block of Ferguson Road from apparent gunshot wounds.  A light colored vehicle was seen leaving the location at a high rate of speed.  Anyone with information regarding this murder is encouraged to contact Homicide Detective Chaney at 214-671-3650 or derick.chaney@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.  This offense is documented on case number 50039-2017.
