The officer involved in this incident has been identified as Senior Corporal Jason Willis #9517. Senior Corporal Willis is currently assigned to the Dallas Police SWAT Unit.

The name of the suspect in the officer involved shooting is Dominique Holligan B/M/22  and he is in critical condition. He is being charged with Aggravated Assault Public Servant and with Narcotics violations.

On March 30, 2017, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Dallas Police SWAT officers were serving a narcotics warrant in the 3000 block of Clydedale Drive. When officers entered the residence they were confronted by an armed Black male suspect. One officer fired rounds striking the suspect. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue in unknown condition. This is an ongoing investigation and is reported under case number 071174-2017. No officers were injured. Further information will be released when it has become available.
