Arrest Made in H&R Involving Officer

Update 6/3/2017 @ 11:00 p.m.

On June 3, 2017, at about 6:15 pm, Dallas Police Detectives developed information regarding the whereabouts of Arrestee, Ivory Keith Nails B/M 17. Arrestee Nails was the driver of the vehicle that struck Dallas Police Officer D. Ordogne’s squad car on May 30, 2017. Dallas Officers observed Arrestee Nails and he attempted to elude them and quickly entered a vehicle that was leaving the Tierra Linda Apartments, located at 3019 Pentagon Parkway. Dallas Officers then performed a felony traffic stop and placed arrestee Nails under arrest for an outstanding Theft Warrant out of  Dallas County. The vehicle he was riding in was confirmed stolen out of the Plano Police Department and he is being being charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid, a Felony of the 3rd Degree and Theft, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.

On May 29, 2017 at about 2:13 pm a Dallas Police officer was driving a marked Dallas Police vehicle and traveling southbound in the 3100 block of S. Westmoreland Road.  An unknown suspect who was driving a 2007 White Chevrolet pickup, Texas Tag HHK1551 was traveling westbound 3300 Pentagon Parkway and failed to yield right of way colliding into the side of the marked Dallas Police vehicle.  The suspects failed to stop and render aid.  The unknown driver and passengers fled the scene on foot without leaving Identification.   The accident and offense are filed under case numbers 120906-2017 and 120907-2017.

The suspect driver and passengers are known to frequent the apartment complexes around the Westmoreland and Pentagon Parkway area. 

The suspects are described as three Black males with short cropped hair, between 5’6” to 6’0”, and weighing between 140 to 160 lbs.
