The Greater Dallas Korean American Chamber of Commerce (GDKACC) held the 9th Annual Dallas Police Department Appreciation Luncheon and Scholarship Award Banquet today at the Omni Hotel / Park West located at 1590 LBJ Freeway, Dallas, Texas. Each year, GDKACC hosts an appreciation luncheon to thank dedicated Dallas police employees by awarding their children with scholarships. The chosen recipients must be a graduating high school senior of Class 2017, with plans to attend college in the fall. The qualifications include a recommendation letters, certificates, awards, and a 500-word essay describing the importance of receiving this scholarship.
The GDKACC has awarded over 51 scholarships over a 9 year period. The Dallas Police Department would like to thank GDKACC for hosting and supporting such a great event. We would also like to congratulate the 2017 scholarship recipients.
