On June 19, 2017, at 5:30 p.m., the Cricket Wireless store located in the 6800 block of Greenville Avenue was robbed at gunpoint.  The suspect pointed a handgun at the employees and took various property from the business.  No employees were injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Latin male, 30-40 years old, 5’8”, 165 lbs, with a mustache and a goatee. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue Dallas Cowboys T-shirt with a black long sleeve shirt underneath, grey sweatpants, blue Dallas Cowboys ball cap, and black Nike air max shoes.  The suspect has tattoos on the right side of his neck, inner left calf and outer right calf.
