Update: 

On July 16, 2017 the body of an identified woman was discovered in the lake located at Blair Park (3200 Rochester) deceased. On July 17, 2017 the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified the woman as Mikayla M. Mitchell, White female, 17 years old.

On July 16, 2017, at approximately 11:39 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call regarding a body floating in the creek at 3000 Rochester Street. Upon arrival, officers located a White female deceased from homicidal violence in the creek. The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
