Suspect Wanted in Sexual Assault

On July 20, 2017 at approximately 9:40 P.M. Dallas Police Officers arrested Sean Padilla, Latin male/23 for the Aggravated Sexual Assault offense that occurred on July 18, 2017, in the 2900 block of Kendale Drive. Arrestee Padilla was transported to the Dallas Police Department Headquarters and was interviewed.

During the interview arrestee Padilla confessed to a total of five Aggravated Sexual Assault offenses. Four of these offense occurred in the City of Dallas and one offense was committed in the City of Garland. These investigations are still ongoing and detectives are still actively working on the cases.

  • April 4, 2017 – 13700 Maham Road Case Number 088215-2017
  • May 2, 2017 – 7000 Holly Hill Drive Case Number 098002-2017
  • May, 30, 2017 – 100 S. Jupiter Road Case Number 2017R12405 (City of Garland)
  • June 26, 2017 – 8600 Lazy Acres Case Number 144897-2017
  • July 18, 2017 – 2900 Kendale Drive Case Number 163218-2017

On July 20, 2017 at approxiamately 9:40 pm the Dallas Police Department made an arrest for the sexual assault offense that occurred on July 18, 2017 in the 2900 block of Kendale Drive. Due to the ongoing investigation and the possibility the arresstee may be linked to other offenses, we will not be releasing his name at this time.

Today, July 18, 2017 at approximately 1:30 pm in the 2900 block of Kendale Drive, a 23 year old Latin female was sexually assaulted by an unknown suspect. The suspect approached the victim and her children as she was opening the door of her residence.  During the assault, a witness knocked on the door asking for the victim. The suspect stated that the victim was not home. The suspect then fled the location on foot and was observed by the witness leaving. The suspect also took property from victim’s home when he left.

The suspect is described as a heavyset Latin male, dark spiky hair, and with tattoos on his forearms and left hand. He was wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering with “Thug Life” on it. The suspect spoke both Spanish and English.
