On August 10, 2017, the Financial Investigations Unit was contacted by First National Bank of Texas regarding a skimmer being placed on one of their ATM’s from August 8 – 10, 2017, at the Walmart Super Center located at 200 Short Boulevard.  Detectives were provided still photographs of the suspects (one male and one female), and the times when the skimmers were placed on the ATM.  Detectives went to the location at approximately 9:30 p.m., where they actually observed the suspects, from the still photographs, attempting to remove the skimmer from the ATM.  At that point, the suspects were detained and subsequently placed under arrest for Unlawful Use of a Criminal Instrument (Case #177164-2017).  The skimmer removed from the ATM was found in the male suspect’s possession.  The male suspect, 25 year old Albert Lionte, was interrogated and confessed to the crime.  Job Well Done Detectives!!!
