On September 6, 2017, at approximately 5:50 AM officers responded to a shooting call at 8620 Park Lane.  Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, Dadi Fantu, A/M/49 shot and lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex.  The victim was transported by Dallas Fire Rescue to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 

Homicide and Crime Scene responded to the scene.  Detectives canvassed and located witnesses who stated that shots were heard and that a gold or gray four door vehicle was seen fleeing the location at a high rate of speed.  Witnesses also stated seeing a female as the driver of this vehicle. 

This female was described as white or Hispanic.  Detectives at this time are trying to determine if the vehicle was the suspect vehicle.  A murder offense will be made on case number 204016-2017.
