Update: On October 9, 2017, at 11:50 a.m. Critical Missing Fred Carter has been located and is safe.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating critical missing person Fred Carter.

On October 07, 2017, around 7:20 p.m. Mr. Carter was last seen at the 3500 block of Gaston Avenue. Mr. Carter is described as a Black male, 77 years old, 5′ 08″ tall, weighs 118 lbs, with gray hair and brown eyes. Mr. Carter is on foot wearing a black and blue ball cap, white tee shirt, dark silk pajama bottoms, with blue and pink sneakers and has a G-tube. Mr. Carter has mobility problems and may have had a stroke in the past and may seem confused.
