The Dallas Police Department was proud to host the first annual City Wide Apartment Owners and Managers Meeting on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Fair Park. The meeting allowed the city’s apartment owners and managers to speak with representatives from the Dallas Police Department, Dallas Fire Department, Dallas Code Enforcement, City attorneys, and the City of Dallas RISK program. 

The Nuisance RISK Property Team works with apartment owners and managers to combat public nuisances. The program is designed to eliminate criminal nuisances by compelling uncooperative property owners to assist in the abatement of these nuisances. Forging a vested partnership with property owners is critical in making every community safe. The ultimate goal of the Nuisance RISK Property Team is to eliminate criminal nuisances and to revitalize neighborhoods that are safer and cleaner places to live, work, and visit.
