On Thursday, November 2, 2017, Senior Corporal Chris Langlois, # 9295, was awarded Officer of the Month for the month of November 2017 by the Dallas Community Police Awards Committee.
Senior Corporal Langlois is an outstanding police officer and a very talented individual. He is highly motivated and truly enjoys the work he does. He is a mature officer with a high level of professionalism, his knowledge, along with his exceptional instincts have made him a very effective crime fighter. Senior Corporal Langlois has worked with numerous units, some of which include the North Central Patrol Division, Crime Response Team (CRT), the Violent Crime Task Force and the Narcotics Knock & Talk squad. He is currently assigned to the Southwest Crime Response Team, which he has been assigned to since 2015. His responsibilities with Southwest CRT include, serving felony arrest warrants, saturation of patrol high crime areas and assisting DPD SWAT and Narcotics with warrant executions.
Chris was nominated by his supervisor for the excellent work skills he has demonstrated throughout his career. The Dallas Police Department would like to take this time to thank Senior Corporal Langlois for his dedication to his role as a police officer and for his service to our community.
