The Dallas YMCA will host The 50th Annual Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The run will start and finish at the Dallas City Hall Plaza. Dallas Police officers will be working security and traffic details for the event and will be available to address any safety concerns. As always, we would like for everyone to have a great time and have a safe and happy thanksgiving.
Please note that multiple streets downtown will have limited access after 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017. The Dallas Police Department will work traffic through the route as necessary and roads will reopen as the race passes each intersection.
Street Closures: Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. until Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. the following closures will take place: Eastbound and Westbound Young Street between Akard Street and Browder Street and between St. Paul Street and Park Avenue. Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 4:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. the following closures will take place: Eastbound and Westbound Young Street between Griffin Street and Harwood Street.
