On December 22, 2017, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in the 4800 block of Dolphin Road. The victim, Reymundo Lopez, a Latin male 19-years-old was shot in his front yard. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
The suspect information was developed through witness information. A tip led us to her location where she was arrested by the Southeast Deployment Unit for and outstanding warrant. Suspect Bustamante was brought to the Homicide office where she a videotaped voluntary statement admitting to shooting the victim. The statement was given after the suspect had been advised of the Miranda Warning. Please see the arrest affidavit for more information. The offense was documented on case number #289352-2017.
