On January 8, 2018 at approximately 1:15 a.m., the Exxon in the 3200 block of W. Illinois was robbed at gunpoint.  Suspects took property from the location but did not harm employees. At approximately 3:35 a.m., the same suspects robbed the 7-11 in the 2900 block of E. Ledbetter, and shot a store clerk during the robbery. Dallas Fire Rescue transported the clerk to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The suspects are described as two Latin males, between 18-20 years old, 5’7”-5’9”, 150-170 lbs. Suspect #1 is wearing black pants, black sweatshirt, a blue and white beanie cap with the word “Dallas” on the front and white tennis shoes. Suspect #2 is wearing black pants, a black camouflage jacket and white shoes. There is at least one additional suspect who drove the suspect vehicle on both offenses.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a silver newer model Ford Focus or Fusion with dark tint.
