Today, Dickey’s Barbecue, Boots and Badges donated Level IV vests and ballistic helmets to all of the patrol divisions. They also provided trucks, drivers, and hand dollies to transport the vests and helmets and to assist the SWAT team with delivery.
SWAT was tasked with the delivery of all the equipment to the substations. The SWAT team delivered 100 vests and helmets to each station for officers. After delivering, all the equipment, Dickey’s Barbecue treated the SWAT officers to lunch.
