One Year Later: Information Wanted on a Homicide

Homicide detectives are still seeking for the public’s assistance in solving the below homicide case that occurred one year ago today. The victim, Debra Williams a 57 year-old Black female was shot and killed inside her apartment. The offense occurred at 2428 Birmingham Ave. #201 .The suspect fled the location in gold or silver 4 door sedan.

On March 16, 2017, at approximately 5:25 AM, officers responded to a shooting call at 2428 Birmingham.  Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Debra Williams B/F/56 shot and being transported by Dallas Fire Rescue to Baylor Hospital.  Homicide and Crime Scene responded to the scene.  The victim subsequently died at the hospital.  Detectives canvassed the area and it was determined that there was a disturbance at the location just prior to the shooting.  The unknown suspect was described as a B/M late 30’s, 5’9”, weighing approximately 175.  He was seen fleeing in a four door sedan possibly gold in color.  A murder offense was be made on case number 059106-2017.
