On March 18, 2018 at approximately 10:11 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a crash at the intersection of Scyene Road and N. Jim Miller Road.  Jose Rico, a 23-year-old Latin male, was driving a black Dodge Charger west on Scyene Road when it collided with a silver Infiniti J30 that was stopped at the intersection.  The impact of the collision killed the driver of the Infiniti, an unidentified Black female.  Rico was transported to an area hospital for his injuries when it was determined he had also been shot.  He died as a result of his injuries.  Anyone with information regarding the shooting of Jose Rico is encouraged to contact Detective Parker at 214-671-3630 or edward.parker@dallascityhall.com  Please refer to case number 57572-2018.
