Community Awareness Bulletin – Robbery at 7-11 on W. 9TH Street

Suspect #2

On Tuesday March 20, 2018, the Shamrock Gas Station located at 205 S. Carroll was robbed at gun point by two black male suspects. Suspect #1 pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The second suspect went behind the counter and demanded the clerk to open the register. The victim opened the register and gave the money to suspect #1. The first suspect is a black male 15-17 years of age, 6’00” tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, wearing a red hoodie, blue gym shorts, and black shoes. The second suspect is as black male 15-17 years of age, 5’6”, 230 pounds, wearing a grey hoodie with white writing, khaki pants, and red shoes. Both suspects fled the location in a blue Chrysler 200.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, the 7-11 located at 825 W. 9th Street was robbed at gun point. During the commission of the robbery the suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, between 15-17 years of age, and armed with a black handgun. He was seen wearing a gray or white jacket with the hood over his head, a black mask, khaki shorts and white tennis shoes. 

In the last few days the same suspect has been involved in several other business robberies to include another 7-11 located at 2802 N. Fitzhugh Avenue.
