The Dallas Police Department is pleased to announce the graduation of Academy Class #357. The class started the academy on July 26, 2017. Twenty-six brave young men and women, some of whom were born and raised in the Dallas area, answered the call to serve the City of Dallas. In spite of the current challenges facing law enforcement officers, the recruits completed the arduous nine month training academy to earn the title of Dallas Police Officer. The graduation marks only the beginning of their journey as the officers head to their new duty assignments at the patrol stations to begin field training and working to keep the City of Dallas safe. Congratulations Class 357 and always remember “Our excellence begins with you”.
