UPDATED: Please Help Locate Person Of Interest Armando Juarez

It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Officer Rogelio Santander, #10934 passed away at 8:11 this morning from his injuries. Again, we ask that you please continue to pray for Officer Santander’s family and our department as we all try to cope with this tragic loss. 

Officer Crystal Almeida and Scott Painter, the loss prevention officer, remain in critical condition but both are improving. Prayers for their recovery are still appreciated.

Update 4/25/18 At 6:00 a.m.

The injured officers are Officers Crystal Almeida, #10932 and Rogelio Santander, #10934.  Both officers are 3 year veterans assigned to the Northeast Division.  The officers and the civilian employee of Home Depot remains in critical condition. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.  The suspect, Armando Juarez, was captured last night after a car chase that started in southeast Dallas and ended in the northeast area of  Dallas.  He will be charged with at least two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant and two previous felony theft warrants.  Additional charges may be added.

The pictured suspect, Armando Juarez L/M/29, is a person of interest in the Attempted Capital Murder of 2 Police Officers that occurred on April 24, 2018, at the Home Depot, located at 11682 Forest Central Drive. The suspect was seen leaving the location in the above pictured truck. The truck is a Ford, possibly F250, white in color with “GX4” on the back fender, ladder rack, and large exhaust pipes rising from the front of the bed.
