On May 3, 2018 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the victim, Jose Villela, a 34-year-old Latin male, was shot inside his apartment at 9637 Forest Lane, Chimney Hills Apartments. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene. Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Det.
