Dallas Police vs Fort Worth Police Benefit Hockey Game

The Dallas Police Hockey team played the Fort Worth Police Hockey team Saturday, May 12, at 8:15 p.m., in a special  hockey game benefiting the family of fallen Dallas Officer Rogelio Santander, as well as injured officer Crystal Almeida, and Home Depot Loss Prevention Officer Scott Painter. The Proceeds from ticket sales and raffles will be donated to the victims and/or their families. The hockey game was played at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter located at 12700 N. Stemmons Freeway Farmers Branch, Texas. The price of admission was $10.

There was an appearance by the Texas Lone Star Brahmas Mascot Mongo as well as the traditional playing of the bagpipes. The ceremonial puck drop was done by Home Depot Loss Prevention Officer Scott Painter.

If you are interested in the final outcome Dallas PD won 7-2, but with this event everybody wins.
