On July 1, 2018, at approximately 3:00 p.m., three black male suspects entered the COSTCO located at 8055 Churchill Way and committed the offense of aggravated robbery of a business. One suspect displayed a handgun and ordered an employee to open the jewelry display cases. Another suspect smashed the display cases with a pickaxe. The third suspect took jewelry from the cases. All three suspects fled out of the COSTCO together where they got into a waiting newer model white Toyota Carolla driven by an unknown suspect and fled towards Coit Road.
