Update: Homicide Investigation of Unidentified Female

Update July 10, 2018, at 5:28 p.m.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Clyde Earl Taylor, a white male 33-years old is responsible for the death of Briana Williams. With the assistance of the US Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, Taylor was taken into custody on July 10, 2018 in Sulfur Springs, Texas.

The unknown victim has been identified as Briana Williams, a black female 22-years-old.  Through the course of the investigation, it has been determined that the suspect seen riding the motorcycle in the video is responsible for her death.  Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect or details surrounding this offense is encouraged to contact Detective Grubbs at david.grubbsjr@dallascityhall.com or 214-671-3675. On May 28, 2018, at approximately 5:30AM, Dallas Police Responded to a call regarding an unconscious black female, approximately 25-30 years of age, in the parking lot of a business at 11129 Zodiac Lane. Upon arrival, police determined that the victim had died from homicidal violence. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
