ARREST MADE: Homicide Investigation at 1220 W. Mockingbird Lane

On August 11, 2018, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 1220 West Mockingbird Lane. Witnesses reported that the victim, Carlton Fisher, a 56-year-old black male, was fueling his vehicle when the suspect approached in a black Ford Edge and fired multiple rounds at the victim. The victim attempted to flee the scene in his vehicle, but was struck by gunfire. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported the victim to Parkland Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Dallas Homicide Detectives began their investigation and were able to develop probable cause to arrest Kevin Hall, a 29-year-old black male, for the murder. Kevin Hall was transported to Dallas Police Headquarters, where he was interviewed by a Homicide detective and subsequently admitted to shooting the victim. The suspect was transported to Lew Sterrett Jail and will be charged with Murder, a first-degree felony.
