On August 21, 2018, at approximately 8:59 a.m., Dallas police officers were following a vehicle believed to be stolen in the 11800 block of Webb Chapel Road.  The officers were following the vehicle when the vehicle attempted to elude the officers.  The suspect was traveling at a high rate of speed when they entered the intersection of Townsend Drive and Marsh Lane.  It is believed that the suspect vehicle, a grey four door sedan traveling eastbound on Townsend Drive, collided with a black pickup truck traveling northbound on Marsh Lane. The officers’ squad car was traveling eastbound Townsend Drive when it collided with a white pickup truck traveling southbound on Marsh Lane. Two officers in the squad car, two suspects in the grey sedan, two victims in the black pickup truck, and one victim in the white pickup truck for a total of seven people were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. This is an active investigation and this incident is reported on case number 185088-2018.
