Information Needed in Aggravated Sexual Assault Offenses

Update December 03, 2018, at 4:51 p.m.

On December 3, 2018, the Dallas Police Department received confirmation through DNA that a 15-year-old juvenile was responsible for the capital murder of victim Maria Ezquerro.  The juvenile was arrested last week in connection with a series of aggravated sexual assaults and remains in custody at the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center.

Update November 29, 2018, at 10:30 p.m.

Through the course of the investigation, a 15-year-old Black male juvenile has been arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault in the three Dallas offenses.  Physical evidence collected at the scenes and DNA has linked the Dallas offenses to the two sexual assaults which occurred in Bossier City, Louisiana.  On November 29, 2018, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Dallas police executed an arrest warrant and took a juvenile into custody without incident.  He was transported to the juvenile processing office and invoked his right to remain silent.  He was transported to the Henry Wade Juvenile Center. 

A capital murder offense occurred on November 27, 2018 in close proximity of the North Dallas sexual assault offenses.  Detectives will examine physical evidence from the crime scene to determine if this offense is related.

Dallas Police detectives received investigative information from the Bossier City, Louisiana Police Department which indicates the suspect in the sexual assaults on September 12 and 19 in North Dallas, and October 30 in Northeast Dallas may be related to two sexual assaults which occurred in Bossier City.  Detectives believe the cases may be related based on the similarities between the suspect description and his actions during the offenses.  The offenses occurred in Bossier City in late March and early April of 2018.  If you know of an individual who meets the suspect description (young black male between the ages of 16 and 19, approximately 5’8” tall, thin), who was in the Shreveport/Bossier City area during March and April of 2018, and who is currently in the Dallas area, please contact Detective Haecker at 214-671-3610 or todd.haecker@dpd.ci.dallas.tx.us.  If you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-8477, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Complainant was inside of her apartment residence at The Wildflower Apartments, 6031 Pineland Drive, Dallas, Texas. The Suspect knocked on the door and solicited work. The Suspect pushed his way into the residence and sexually assaulted the Complainant. The Suspect was described as a black male, 16 to 18 years old, approximately 5’8″, 140 pounds, with a box fade haircut, and he had a mark on his wrist.  The Suspect was last seen wearing black pants, a black T-shirt with something white on the front, a black jacket, and black/red athletic shoes. The suspect displayed a weapon.   

This offense is approximately eight and a half miles from the other two offenses which occurred in September.

The height of the suspect description in the offense that occured at Dallas Parkway has been updated to 5′ 08″. The  age of the suspect in the second offense has been updated to between 17 and 19 years old.

On Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at approximately 10:00 a.m.,  the victim was inside of her apartment residence at 14200 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, Texas. The Suspect knocked on the door and solicited a donation. When the Suspect took the donation, he pushed his way into the residence and sexually assaulted the victim. The Suspect was described as a black male, 16 to 17 years old, approximately 5’3″, 120 pounds, wearing khaki pants, white polo shirt, and may have a visible injury to his wrist. The suspect displayed a weapon. (Case number 202558-2018)

 

On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at approximately 8:30 am, the victim  was inside of her apartment residence at 14100 Montfort Drive, Dallas, Texas. The Suspect knocked on the door and solicited work. The Suspect pushed his way into the residence and sexually assaulted the victim. The Suspect was described as a black male, 18 to 22 years old, approximately 5’8″, thin build, wearing dark pants and a blue jacket. The suspect displayed a weapon. (Case number 208037-2018)
