On September 25, 2018, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting at 12835 Preston Road.  The victim, Roy Pate, 35-years-old Black male was shot while sitting inside a vehicle and transported to an area hospital.  On October 13, 2018, Mr. Pate died from complications arising as a result of the shooting.  Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Detective Montenegro at 214-671-3624 or e.montenegro@dallascityhall.com.  Please refer to case number 212831-2018.
