First Annual #ROCing Redbird

Join us Saturday October 27, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., for the First Annual #ROCing Redbird. This event is a fun way to connect with the Dallas Police Department’s Redbird Outreach Center and get a little physical activity in as you participate in a community bike ride near Redbird Mall. Whether you’re a novice bicyclist, distance rider, or member of a team we encourage everyone of all ages to come out and see what RedBird has to offer. This event is for the entire family. Join us for an engaging 1.5-mile community FUN Ride for all ages, afterwards you can also join officers for an engaging 5-mile community ride around the RedBird area. Everyone can participate in a bike safety clinic, a free bike pop up shop to inspect and if possible repair your personal bike and a helmet giveaway while supplies last! Other events include free coffee by Starbucks, onsite drug take back for old prescription medications, access to helpful information on healthy eating and free fruit. Not really interested in riding a bike? No problem. There will be music and entertainment inside of the mall where kids can also enjoy a bounce house. Everyone will have the opportunity to meet and engage with local business owners.

There’s a link for all to get registered to participate in the Bike Ride – check out the Eventbrite page
