Homicide on Walnut Street

Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that a Black male juvenile suspect, 16-years-old was responsible for the death of Arthur Holloway at 10110 Walnut Street.  On October 22, 2018, the juvenile turned himself in to Dallas Police Detectives at Jack Evans Headquarters.  He was processed and taken to the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center, charged with murder.   

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, at approximately 1:46 am, Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Briarwick Apartments located at 10110 Walnut Street. Upon arrival, the victim, Arthur Holloway, a 17-year old Black male, was found in the apartment with a single gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital. Witnesses reported that there was a party at the apartment and several individuals fled the before the arrival of police. At approximately 6:58 a.m., the victim was pronounced deceased.
