The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a victim in a fatality crash.

On November 11, 2018, around 9:25 PM, an unknown male was crossing the 3400 block of E. Illinois when he was struck by a vehicle traveling west bound. The unknown male was later pronounced deceased as a results of his injuries. The Dallas Police Vehicle Crimes Unit has been unable to identify the male(see posted sketch). He appears to be Hispanic, around 55 to 65 years of age, and is possibly handicap and uses a small bicycle for mobility. The accident is documented on case number: 245123-2018.

The vehicle that struck the unknown male is a white pickup, unknown make, or model.  No driver description is currently available.  The suspect vehicle should have damage to the left front quarter panel. If you have any information regarding the unknown male in the sketch or any information regarding the suspect vehicle, please contact Detective Gerald Baum in Vehicle Crimes (214) 671-0010.
