Harry Hines Murder Suspect Arrested

On Monday, December 03, 2018, at approximately 8:24 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Anchor Hotel located at 10230 Harry Hines Blvd.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, an unidentified Latin male, approximately 17-years of age, lying on the bed with an apparent gunshot wound.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.  During the investigation, it was learned by detectives that a suspect, Gerardo Rodriguez-Cardona, a L/M 19, shot the victim in a hotel room. 

Suspect Rodriguez-Cardona was transported to Jack Evans Headquarters where he was interviewed by a homicide detective.  Suspect Rodriguez-Cardona admitted to shooting the victim.  After the interview, he was arrested for Murder and transported to the Dallas County Jail.
