On Friday, December the 21, 2018, at approximately 6:32 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at 2030 W. Northwest Hwy. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, James Howard Jennings, III, a 32-year old Black male, laying in the 2nd floor walkway with multiple gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died of his injuries. Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives determined that Deanthony Andrew Frank, a 25-year old Black male and a second suspect, shot the victim. Suspect Frank is in custody for capital murder and the other suspect is still at-large.
