On Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at approximately 8:43 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a major disturbance call at 9340 Skillman Street.  The victim Latrecia Neshea Nelson, a 38-year old Black female, was found on the floor inside her apartment bedroom with stab wounds.  Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased at 8:54 a.m.  Through the course of the investigation, homicide detectives determined that Kenneth Ray Walker, a 34-year old Black male, was the suspect.  Several hours later, Kenneth Ray Walker surrendered to Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Dallas Police transported him to Dallas Police Jack Evans Headquarters. During the interview, he admitted to stabbing the victim.  Kenneth Ray Walker was transported to the Dallas County Lew Sterrett Jail and charged with Murder, a First-Degree Felony.
