On January 17, 2019, the North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking (NTCAHT) hosted an award ceremony. At the ceremony, Chief Hall and detectives from the High-Risk Victims Squad accepted the 2018 Champion of Freedom Award that was presented by the NTCAHT.
The detectives of the High-Risk Victims Squad were assigned over 124 human trafficking cases. They have cleared 57 of those cases and made over 19 felony arrest. More importantly, the squad has recovered 63 high risk victims.
Thank you, High-Risk Victims Squad, for your willingness to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by Human Trafficking. Victims who voices were once silent can now be heard, because of your hard work and dedication.
