Carbon Monoxide Emergency at 1446 Owega Avenue

On February 3, 2019 at approximately 9:21 a.m., Dallas police were dispatched to a call regarding multiple individuals deceased inside a residence under construction at 1446 Owega Avenue.

Dallas Police and Dallas Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and immediately detected a strong smell of gas fumes. Dallas Fire Rescue checked the area with detectors and meters and  found a high level of carbon monoxide.

Upon entry into the structure, they discovered two adult Latin males and two Latin male juveniles all deceased inside. Their names will not be released pending notification to a next of kin. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office will perform autopsies to determine the cause of death.
