The Dallas Police Department, along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security, Collin County Sheriffs Office, Plano Police Department, and the Dallas County District Attorney Office as members of the North Texas ICAC Task Force, conducted a joint online solicitation operation February 5-7, 2019.

The purpose of the operation was to apprehend perpetrators targeting minor children for sexual acts. 

As a result of this operation, nine (9) individuals were arrested for the charge of Solicitation of a Minor.

Among those arrested was Jim Cude, a band director for North Mesquite High School.  Anyone who believes they experienced inappropriate contact by him is encouraged to contact the Dallas Police Department Child Exploitation Unit at (214) 671-4215.
